Tyree Lamar Pittman (born November 14, 1993), known by his stage name Young Chop, is an American record producer, rapper, and songwriter. He is famous for creating "drill" hip hop music. He also produced many early hit songs for Chief Keef, including "I Don't Like" and "Love Sosa".
About Young Chop
Tyree Lamar Pittman grew up in the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. He started making music beats when he was 11 years old. His cousin helped him learn. At first, he wanted to be a rapper himself.
Young Chop met another artist, Chief Keef, on Facebook. He then started producing many of Chief Keef's songs. The mixtape Back From The Dead by Chief Keef was the first big project Young Chop produced.
He later started his own independent music label called Chop Squad. He also created a website, SoundKitWiz.com. This website sells music production tools online. Young Chop's unique "producer tag" is "Young Chop On the Beat." His four-year-old nephew says this phrase at the start of his songs.
