Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg is a special school in Barry, a town on the coast of south Wales. It's a Welsh medium comprehensive school. This means that most lessons are taught in the Welsh language. It teaches students from around 11 to 18 years old. The school is right next to Barry Hospital.
The school first opened its doors in September 2000. It started in a building that used to be part of Barry Comprehensive School. By 2002, the school had 24 teachers. There were also 369 students in years 7 to 9. About a quarter of the students had at least one parent who spoke Welsh at home. The school is known for being good at many things. For example, it won over 7 awards at the Urdd National Eisteddfod in 2017. This shows its talents in different areas.
