Yukari Anzai (born December 31) is a talented voice actress from Taiwan and Japan. She uses her voice to bring characters to life in many animated shows and video games. Yukari Anzai started her voice acting career in 2017. Her first big role was playing Momo Minamoto in the anime series Release the Spyce in 2018.

Yukari Anzai's Early Life and Career

Yukari Anzai spent some of her childhood years in Taiwan. She loved watching anime shows as she grew up. Some of her favorites were Cardcaptor Sakura and Super Doll Licca-chan. Her brother also introduced her to the Zoids series.

How Yukari Anzai Became a Voice Actress

Yukari Anzai became interested in voice acting when she was in elementary school. She had a part in a historical play for a class project. To learn more about voice acting, her brother lent her a DVD of the series Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's. She was really impressed by the acting and singing of voice actress Nana Mizuki. Watching this show made Yukari want to become a voice actress herself. To get better at it, she also listened to the voices of other famous actresses like Sanae Kobayashi, Aoi Yūki, and Kana Hanazawa. She even spent eight months studying in New Zealand.

Yukari Anzai's First Roles

Yukari Anzai started her professional voice acting journey in 2017. This was after she finished her studies at Pony Canyon's P's Voice Artist School. At first, she played smaller parts in anime series. These included Clean Freak! Aoyama kun, Angel's 3Piece!, and Love and Lies.

Yukari Anzai's Big Break

In 2018, Yukari Anzai got her first main role. She played Momo Minamoto, the hero of the anime series Release the Spyce. She and the other main characters also sang the show's opening and ending songs. Their group was called Tsukikage. To promote Release the Spyce, she even appeared at an event in Indonesia.

Later in 2018, she was chosen to be a Japanese ambassador for hot springs in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. This was part of a project called Onsen Musume. That same year, she also voiced the character Tiara in the Lapis Re:Lights project. In 2019, she played Miharu Yomine in the mobile game Cue!. She later voiced this character again in the anime version of the game.
