Yukio Tsuchiya (土屋 征夫, Tsuchiya Yukio, born July 31, 1974) is a Japanese footballer. He plays as a defender for Tokyo 23 FC.

Yukio Tsuchiya's Football Journey
Yukio Tsuchiya was born in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, on July 31, 1974. After finishing high school, he moved to Brazil in 1994. There, he played for several football clubs. These clubs included Noroeste, Internacional Bebedouro, and Barretos.
Starting His Career in Japan
In 1997, Yukio Tsuchiya returned to Japan. He joined a top-tier club called Verdy Kawasaki. This club is now known as Tokyo Verdy. He played his first game in August 1997. By 1998, he was playing many matches as a side back.
Playing for Vissel Kobe
In 1999, Tsuchiya moved to Vissel Kobe. He became a regular player for this team. He played as a center back for six seasons. During his time at Vissel Kobe, he played 154 games and scored 9 goals.
Moving to Other Clubs
In 2005, he joined Kashiwa Reysol. He played regularly for them. However, the club moved down to a lower league at the end of that season. In 2006, he moved to Omiya Ardija. He played many games as a left side back for this team.
Returning to Tokyo Verdy
In 2007, Tsuchiya returned to Tokyo Verdy. He had played for them nine years earlier. Even though the club was mostly in the second division, he was a key player. He played as a regular center back for six seasons. He appeared in 208 games and scored 14 goals during this period.
Later Career Years
In 2013, he joined Ventforet Kofu, a club in the top league. He played many matches as a center back. He missed the 2014 season due to an injury. His playing time became less in 2017. In August 2017, he moved to Kyoto Sanga FC. He played a few matches for them. Since 2018, he has been playing for Tokyo 23 FC in the Regional Leagues.
