Yumjao Leima facts for kids

Yumjao Leima, also known as Yumjao Lairembi or Yumjao Lairemma, is a very important goddess in the Meitei religion called Sanamahism. She is seen as the mother goddess of homes and families. People believe she is also the goddess of kings and queens. She is said to appear in a white dress to bless the rulers of the land.

• A non-profit group called "Yumjao Lairembi Dramatic and Cultural Union" was started in 2011. This group is in Khagempali Huidrom Leikai, Imphal. They likely perform plays and cultural events related to the goddess.
