Early Life and Medical Career
Yuri Senkevich was born to Russian parents. He studied medicine and became a military doctor in 1960. Later, he worked at a special institute in Moscow. This institute focused on aviation and space medicine.
Exploring Space Medicine
In 1965, Senkevich was chosen for a special medical group. They were preparing for long space flights. Although these flights didn't happen, he continued his work. He studied how humans could live in extreme conditions.
