Yuto Nakajima (Japanese: 中島 裕翔, Hepburn: Nakajima, Yūto) is a Japanese singer, actor, and model. He is a member of the popular music group Hey! Say! JUMP. He is known for his roles in TV shows like Nobuta wo Produce and movies such as #Manhole.

Career Highlights
Starting in Entertainment (2004-2007)
Yuto Nakajima began his journey in entertainment on March 28, 2004. He was in his fifth year of elementary school when he joined Johnny's Jr.. This is a group of young performers who train to become idols.
After joining, he performed with a group called J.J.Express. He was one of the first five members. In 2005, Yuto started acting in TV dramas. He appeared in Nobuta wo Produce and Engine. He also joined a special dance group called Tap Kids in 2006.
In April 2007, Yuto became part of a temporary group called Hey! Say! 7. They released their first song, "Hey! Say!", which quickly became a number one hit. Later that year, on September 24, it was announced that Hey! Say! 7 would join with other members to form a new group: Hey! Say! JUMP. Their first song, "Ultra Music Power", also topped the music charts.
Leading Roles and Group Success (2008-2011)
Yuto Nakajima got his first main acting role in a TV drama on April 12, 2008. The show was called Sensei Wa Erai. He starred alongside his Hey! Say! JUMP bandmates Daiki Arioka, Ryosuke Yamada, and Yuri Chinen.
He took on another main role in the drama Scrap Teacher in October 2008. This show used Hey! Say! JUMP's song "Mayonaka no Shadow Boy" as its theme. His bandmates also appeared in this drama. In 2011, Hey! Say! JUMP released their first album, JUMP No.1. Yuto helped write the lyrics for a song on the album called "Dash!!".
Growing Popularity and New Ventures (2012-Present)
In 2012, Yuto Nakajima appeared in the comedy drama Perfect Son with Ryosuke Yamada. On February 17, 2012, Yuto, along with Yamada and Chinen, officially graduated from Horikoshi High School.
Yuto also started modeling in 2012. He appeared in Fine Boys Magazine in August. He even became a photographer for Hey! Say! JUMP's 2013-2014 calendar. He continued acting in various TV dramas, including Sharehouse no Koibito and Hanzawa Naoki in 2013.
In 2014, Yuto was part of the drama series Yowakutemo Katemasu. That summer, he got his first main role in a TV drama called Suikyu Yankees. His bandmate Yuya Takaki also starred in this show.
Yuto's first movie role came in 2015. He starred in Pink to Gray, a film based on a novel. He also attended the world premiere of the movie in Korea. In 2022, Yuto took on the lead role in the thriller movie #Manhole. This movie was invited to the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival in 2023. It was the first Japanese film since 2016 to be shown in the Berlinale Special section. Yuto and the director attended the festival. The movie and Yuto's acting received very good reviews.
Yuto is set to appear in a movie and a drama in 2025. The movie, 366 Days, is inspired by a song. He will play a supporting role and speak with an Okinawan accent. He will also be a co-lead in the TV drama The Top Secret. In this show, he will play two different characters.
