Zahra Muzdalifah (born 4 April 2001) is a talented Indonesian footballer. She plays as a forward for WE League club Cerezo Osaka Yanmar Ladies in Japan. Zahra also represents her home country on the Indonesia women's national team.
Early Life and Football Dreams
Zahra Muzdalifah was born on April 4, 2001, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her journey in football began very early. When she was just 7 years old, her father introduced her to the sport. This sparked her love for the game, and she started playing right away.
Zahra's Football Journey
Zahra started her football career by joining local clubs. She first played for SSB Madani Meruya. After that, she moved to SSB Patriot Merah Putih. In 2012, Zahra joined the ASIOP Football Academy.
When she was 12, her skills grew a lot at ASIOP Football Academy. This helped her play in a women's football competition in Norway. Zahra also played futsal with the Ngapak FC team. She also played for the Jakarta 69 club.
Her career really took off when she joined Persija Putri. On her very first game, she scored a goal! This happened against PSIS Putri. Persija Putri won the game 4-1 at Maguwoharjo Stadium in Sleman. This was during the 2019 Liga 1 Putri, which is Indonesia's top women's football league.
Zahra's great playing caught the eye of many. She was even invited to join the Indonesian national team, known as Srikandi Garuda. This was for the Asian Games in 2018. She wasn't just a player; she was also the Team captain. Later, she also played for South Shields and now plays for Cerezo Osaka Yanmar Ladies. She has scored goals for her national team in international matches.
Life Off the Field
Zahra also focused on her education. She went to Islamic Secondary School International Middle School (IISS). Then she continued to International Islamic High School. After finishing high school, Zahra went to Binus University. There, she studied Mass Communication.
