Zarinah Hassan (born on September 23, 1980), known as Zari Hassan or Zari the Boss Lady, is a famous Ugandan businesswoman, socialite, musician, and actress. She lives in South Africa, where she manages her businesses.
Zari is the leader and CEO of Brooklyn City College (BCC). This is an educational school in South Africa that she started with her late husband, Ivan Semwanga. BCC has its main office in Pretoria. It also has other campuses in cities like Polokwane, Durban, Johannesburg, Nelspruit, Vereeniging, and Rustenburg.

Family and Relationships
In South Africa, Zari met and married Ivan Semwanga. They had three children together. Their marriage ended in 2013.
In May 2017, Ivan Semwanga became very ill. He passed away on May 25, 2017. He was buried in Uganda. After the funeral, Zari returned to South Africa. She took over managing her businesses and some of her late husband's companies.
Zari also has two children with the Tanzanian artist Diamond Platnumz. In October 2023, Zari Hassan married Shakib Lutaaya, a businessman from Uganda.
