Naseeb Abdul Juma Issack, known professionally as Diamond Platnumz, is a famous Tanzanian singer, dancer, and businessman. He is a big star in bongo flava music. Diamond Platnumz started his own record label called WCB Wasafi. He also owns Wasafi Bet and Wasafi Media.
Diamond Platnumz is very popular in East and Central Africa. He was the first artist from Africa to get over 900 million views on YouTube. In 2017, he signed a deal with Universal Music. After that, he released his third album, A Boy from Tandale, in 2018. In 2021, Diamond and his WCB Wasafi label joined forces with Warner Music Group.

Music Career
Diamond Platnumz began his music journey in 2006. He was 18 years old and sold clothes to earn money. He used his earnings to record songs. His first song was "Toka Mwanzo," a mix of Bongo flava and R&B. This song did not become a big hit.
Breakthrough Success
His first major hit song was "Kamwambie," released in 2010. This song won three Tanzania Music Awards. He then released his first album, also called Kamwambie, in the same year.
In 2014, Diamond Platnumz was nominated for a BET Awards 2014 for Best International Act: Africa. He often works with videographer Director Kenny for his music videos. The music video for his song "Waah," directed by Kenny, was nominated for "Best African Video" in 2021. "Waah" has over 100 million views on YouTube. It is one of the most-watched Tanzanian music videos.
In 2022, he released an extended playlist (EP) called First Of All (FOA). This EP had 10 songs and featured popular artists like Zuchu, Adekunle Gold, and Focalistic. First Of All combines R&B, Bongo Flava, and Afrobeats. To promote the EP, Diamond Platnumz showed all the music videos from FOA at a cinema in Tanzania.
In 2023, Diamond Platnumz worked with Congolese musician Koffi Olomide again. This was their second song together after "Waah" from 2020. Also in 2023, Diamond Platnumz won his third MTV EMA award for Best African Act.
Personal Life
Diamond Platnumz is a Muslim. He has children. His cousin is Romeo Abdul Jones, also known as Romy Jones, who is a DJ. Diamond also has two sisters: musician Queen Darleen and businesswoman Esma Platnumz.
Diamond Platnumz has shown support for political parties in Tanzania and Kenya. In 2010, he supported Tanzania's ruling party, the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM). He released songs like "CCM Tusonge Mbele" ("CCM Let's Move Forward") to support them. In 2022, he performed at a campaign rally for Raila Odinga in Kenya.
He has also confirmed that he is dating Zuchu, who is also a musician on his WCB Wasafi label.

- On January 23, 2019, he became a Pepsi Brand Ambassador in East Africa.
- On September 13, 2019, he became a Brand Ambassador for Parimatch Africa.
- On September 25, 2019, he was named the Nice One Brand Ambassador.
- On March 4, 2020, he became the new Brand Ambassador for Coral Paints (Tanzania).
- On December 11, 2021, he launched Wasafibet. This was a partnership with Odibets, a sports betting company from Kenya.
- In April 2022, he became the new brand ambassador for Airtel Tanzania.
