Zion Wright (born February 3, 1999) is an American professional skateboarder. He is known for his exciting style and has become a big name in skateboarding. In 2019, Zion joined the USA Skateboarding Team, showing he was one of the best young skaters around.

Growing Up and Starting Skateboarding
Zion Wright grew up in a sunny place called Jupiter, Florida. He started skateboarding when he was only 4 years old. Even at a young age, he quickly became a well-known skateboarder in Florida.
When Zion was 16, he moved from his hometown to Los Angeles, California. He made this big move to help his skateboarding career grow even more. The move worked out well! In November 2017, Zion became a professional skateboarder for Real Skateboards.

Skate Videos
Zion Wright has appeared in several skateboarding videos. In 2011, he was featured in a video called Florida Daze. He also had parts in Florida Daze 2 (2013) and Florida Daze 3 (2015).
Later, in 2017, Zion was in the Thrasher - Am Scramble 2017 video. He also appeared in the Real Skateboards video, By Any Means. These videos helped show off his amazing skills.

Zion Wright has competed in many skateboarding events. He has won and placed high in several big competitions:

Sponsors and the Olympics
Skateboarders often have sponsors, which are companies that support them. As of March 2019, Zion Wright is sponsored by many well-known brands. These include Real, Vans, Red Bull, Thunder, Spitfire, Skatepark of Tampa (SPoT), Bones Bearings, Nixon, Shake Junt, Kreamy Wax, Hot Wheels, and Glassy Sunhaters.
Zion was also chosen to be one of the first 16 members of the U.S.A Skateboarding National Team. This team was announced in March 2019. Being part of this team helped Zion qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. He competed in the Men's Park division at the Olympics.
