Zorhan Ludovic Bassong (born May 7, 1999) is a professional soccer player from Canada. He plays as a left-back for Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer.

About Zorhan Bassong
Zorhan Bassong was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His mother is from Belgium, and his father is from Cameroon. When he was just three months old, his family moved to Montreal. He started playing youth soccer there at age five with a club called CS Longueuil.
Zorhan's Club Career
Zorhan Bassong has played for several soccer clubs throughout his career. He started his professional journey in Europe before returning to North America.
Playing for European Clubs
Bassong joined Cercle Brugge in Belgium on January 29, 2019. Before that, he was with Lille in France. He left Cercle Brugge on July 8, 2020.
In January 2023, Bassong signed with a Romanian club called Argeș Pitești. He played in eight games for them. Later, in June 2023, he joined Farul Constanța, who were the champions of Romania's top league at the time. However, he and Farul Constanța decided to end his contract in September 2023.
Playing for Canadian and MLS Clubs
On December 1, 2020, it was announced that Bassong would join the Canadian MLS team CF Montréal. He signed a two-year contract starting in the 2021 season. He also had options to play for two more years. After the 2022 season, the club decided not to keep him, and he left.
In December 2023, Bassong returned to Major League Soccer. He signed with Sporting Kansas City for the 2024 season. His contract also includes options for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
Zorhan's International Career
Zorhan Bassong has also played for his home country, Canada.
Playing for Canada's National Team
He played his first game for the Canadian national team on January 10, 2020. This was a friendly match where Canada won 4–1 against Barbados.
Playing for Canada's Under-23 Team
Bassong was also chosen for the Canadian U23 team. This was for the 2020 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship. He was first named to the provisional (temporary) roster on February 26, 2020. Then, on March 10, 2021, he was named to the final team for the tournament, which had been rescheduled.
