Ånge is a small town in Sweden. It's located in Västernorrland County and is the main town for Ånge Municipality. In 2010, about 2,872 people lived here.
Ånge is a very important place for trains. It's like a big meeting point where two major railway lines connect. These are the northern main line (called Norra Stambanan) and the central main line (called Mittbanan). Because of this, the train yard at Ånge station is a busy spot for moving goods by train in the central part of Sweden.
Ånge is also known in Sweden as "The Swedish version of Seattle". This is because many cool bands have started here, just like in Seattle, USA. Some of these bands include Takida, The Grand Opening, and Corroded.
