Édouard Marquis (born August 17, 1969 – died November 23, 2020) was a French radio and TV host. He was also a journalist and producer. He helped manage the historic Château de Culan in France.

While still in school, Édouard started a debate show. It was called "Face Aux Jeunes" and aired on Ado FM, a radio station. In 1992, his show moved to a TV channel called France 3 Paris Île-de-France. Many famous people appeared on his show. These included politicians like Ségolène Royal and artists like Cabu. Édouard even won an award called Défi Jeunes. This award was given by the French Minister of Sports.

Working in Television

Édouard Marquis created many reports for different TV channels. These included France 2, Télé emploi, and France 5. He also worked for MCM, a music TV channel.

On MCM, he hosted a show called "NetSurf". This show was about the internet. Later, "NetSurf" became a longer weekly show. It was 26 minutes long and featured special guests. From 1997 to 1998, he hosted another show called "NetZik". This program focused on the internet, music, and youth culture. It was very popular with young people.

Organizing "La Nuit du Net"

While working in television, Édouard Marquis organized a special event. It was called "La Nuit du Net" (The Night of the Net). This was a festival about the internet. It took place in June 1996 at the Bataclan in Paris.
