Delessert's Work with Sesame Street

Delessert created animated parts for the popular children's show Sesame Street. One famous segment showed a woman's face changing shapes. In 1973, he illustrated a children's book based on the song "Being Green." This song was sung by Jim Henson as Kermit the Frog on Sesame Street and The Muppet Show.
