Have you ever seen a really tall building? The 1999 Avenue of the Stars is one of those! It's a huge skyscraper in Century City, Los Angeles, California. This building used to be called SunAmerica Center, and before that, AIG–SunAmerica Center. It's a very important building for businesses.

This amazing tower was finished in 1990. It stands 534 feet (about 163 meters) tall and has 39 floors! That's like climbing 39 sets of stairs to the top. It was designed by a company called Johnson Fain. It's one of the tallest buildings in Los Angeles and one of the five tallest in Century City. There's even a big parking garage with eight levels right next to it.

The 1999 Avenue of the Stars building is really well-designed and managed. It even won an award called the "Office Building of the Year Award" in 2001/2002 from BOMA International. This award shows that it's a great place for companies to work.

In March 2009, all the signs with the AIG company logo were taken off the building.
