AMD Radeon is a brand name by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Several computer products are sold unter the brand. For example, graphics processing units (GPUs), random-access memory (RAM), RAM disk software, and solid-state drives (SSDs). These products are produced by Radeon Technologies Group. This is a division of AMD.
The concurrent is Nvidia's GeForce line.
History
Radeon was created by ATI Technologies. AMD bought the company in 2006 for $5.6 billion.
