The Story of the Miser Brothers
A Family Reunion with Mother Nature
The story begins with the two brothers, Heat Miser and Snow Miser, at a big family reunion. Their mom, Mother Nature, is there, along with their other siblings. These include the North Wind, Earthquake, Thunder and Lightning, and the Tides.
The North Wind asks Mother Nature what would happen if Santa couldn't deliver presents. She says he would take over Christmas! This makes Heat and Snow start arguing, as usual. They bicker about global warming and the Ice Age. They also fight over who owns Iceland (which has little ice) and Greenland (which has lots of ice). Mother Nature has to stop their fight.
North Wind's Sneaky Plan
The North Wind looks charming, but he's actually very sneaky. He wants to replace Santa Claus and become famous. He starts his plan by sending his helpers to crash Santa's special sleigh. Santa gets hurt when he falls into the middle of Heat and Snow's fight.
Even though Santa is hurt, Mother Nature gives the Miser Brothers a big job. She asks them to run Santa's toy factory! They keep fighting as they try to work. The North Wind hopes they will mess up Christmas so he can step in.
Working Together for Christmas
Mrs. Claus helps the Miser Brothers see how important their job is. She shows them Santa's Naughty/Nice list. They discover they've always been on the naughty list because of their constant arguing.
Realizing their mistakes, the brothers finally decide to work together. They get the toy factory running smoothly again. But the North Wind isn't giving up! He plans to make them fight again. He wants Santa to deliver the toys so he can stop him for good.
Saving Christmas from the North Wind
On Christmas Eve, the North Wind's helpers secretly put special heating and cooling devices on Santa's sleigh. When the brothers find them, they blame each other and start fighting again. Santa has to leave to deliver presents, just as the North Wind wanted.
But then, Santa's mechanic, Tinsel, finds out the sleigh was sabotaged. The Misers realize they weren't to blame for Santa's injury. They also find a Christmas card from the North Wind, showing him dressed as Santa. They finally understand his evil plan!
The Miser Brothers, Tinsel, and a team of young reindeer rush to save Santa. They stop the North Wind from attacking Santa's sleigh. Mother Nature finds out about the North Wind's tricks. She punishes him by making him do chores for thousands of years!
With the North Wind stopped, the brothers are finally on Santa's nice list. They help deliver the rest of the presents and even give gifts to each other. They finally make peace and end their long feud.
