Abril Zamora Peláez (born November 11, 1981) is a Spanish actress, writer, and director. She has worked in movies, TV shows, and theater for many years. She became well-known for playing Luna in the TV series Vis a Vis on FOX Spain.

Later, Abril and Sergio Caballero started a theater group. They named it Oscura Teatre. With this group, she created several plays. These included El congelador (2008) and La indiferencia de los armadillos (2009). She also wrote Todas muertas (2010). Abril wrote the scripts for all three plays. In 2014, she presented her play Yernos que aman. This was a funny and sad story. She directed it herself and also acted in it.

Moving to Television

Abril had small roles in many TV shows. These included Los Serrano (2007) and Los hombres de Paco (2008). She also appeared in Hospital central (2009). In April 2017, Abril was offered a small part. This was for the TV series Vis a vis. But during her audition, the team really liked her. So, her character, who didn't even have a name at first, grew bigger. She became Luna in the third and fourth seasons of the show. This role made her very popular. She was even nominated for an award. It was for Best Newcomer Actress. This was at the Actors and Actresses Union Awards.

Writing and Directing

In 2019, Abril created a TV series. It was for Telecinco and called Señoras del (h)AMPA. She was also the director and writer for both seasons. The show is about a group of mothers. They accidentally kill someone. In the same year, she joined the writing team. This was for the Netflix series Élite.

She also acted in the movie ¿A quién te llevarías a una isla desierta? in 2019. Jota Linares directed it. A year later, she was in an Italian film. It was called The Life Ahead. In this movie, she acted alongside the famous Sophia Loren. Abril also had a supporting role in another Netflix show. It was El desorden que dejas. She played Tere, who was the best friend of the main character.
