Cerdanyola del Vallès is a town in Catalonia, Spain. It is a municipality located in the Vallès Occidental area. The town sits on the north side of the Collserola ridge.

Cerdanyola del Vallès is easy to reach. It has major roads like the A-7 and C-58 motorways. The N-150 road also passes through. You can also get there by train using the Renfe railway lines R4, R7, and R12.

This town is famous for a few important places. It is home to the main campus of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. This is a big university located in an area called Bellaterra. Cerdanyola del Vallès also hosts the ALBA (synchrotron). This is a special science facility where scientists use powerful light to study tiny things. It is part of the Barcelona Synchrotron Park.
