Acassuso is a town in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is part of the San Isidro area. The town is located about 16 kilometers (10 miles) north of the big city of Buenos Aires. You can find it between the towns of Olivos and San Isidro.
Acassuso is right next to the River Plate. Here, you can find a special place called the "Refugio Natural Educativo de la Ribera Norte." This is a nature reserve that covers about 10 hectares (25 acres). It has been a protected area since 1994. It is a great spot to see local plants and animals.
You can easily get to Acassuso by train. Two different train lines serve the town. One is the Tren de la Costa, which is a fun tourist train. The other is the Mitre Line, a regular commuter service.
