Adam Elliott (born 16 October 1994) is an Australian professional rugby league player. He plays as a lock (lock) and second-row (second-row) forward. Adam currently plays for the Newcastle Knights in the NRL.
Before joining the Knights, he played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Canberra Raiders. He has also represented special teams like Country NSW and the Indigenous All Stars.

About Adam Elliott
Adam Elliott was born in Bega, New South Wales, Australia. His family background includes both Indigenous Australian and Latvian heritage.
He started playing rugby league as a junior for the Tathra Sea Eagles. Later, he attended St Gregory's College, Campbelltown. While there, he played in the college's GIO Schoolboys Cup team. After his school days, he was signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
Adam's Rugby League Journey
Early Career Steps
In 2013 and 2014, Adam played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs' NYC team. This is a competition for younger players. In 2015, he moved up to their New South Wales Cup team.
On May 3, 2015, he played for the New South Wales Residents team. They played against the Queensland Residents. Later that year, on September 27, he was chosen for the 2015 New South Wales Cup Team of the Year. In November 2015, he signed a new two-year contract with Canterbury.
NRL Debut and Seasons
Adam made his first NRL appearance in 2016. This was in Round 1 of the 2016 NRL season for Canterbury-Bankstown. His team played against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.
In the 2018 season, Adam played in 24 games for Canterbury. He scored 4 tries that year.
During the 2019 NRL season, Adam played 20 games for Canterbury-Bankstown. The team had a tough season, but they managed to win four upset games in a row. These wins were against teams like Penrith, the Wests Tigers, South Sydney, and Parramatta. Canterbury finished 12th on the table that season.
In 2020, Adam faced a challenge during a game in Round 8 of the 2020 NRL season. He had to leave the field due to an injury. It was later confirmed that he had dislocated his shoulder. This injury meant he could not play for the rest of the season.
Moving to New Teams
In late 2021, Adam signed a contract with the Canberra Raiders. This allowed him to continue his playing career in the 2022 NRL season.
In June 2022, Adam signed a new three-year contract. This contract was with the Newcastle Knights, starting in 2023.

Adam played 18 matches for Newcastle in the 2023 NRL season. The team finished 5th on the table. He also played in both of their finals games. The Knights were eliminated in the second week of the finals by the New Zealand Warriors.
In Round 2 of the 2024 NRL season, Adam scored two tries for Newcastle. This was in a close game against North Queensland, which Newcastle lost in extra time. Adam played 23 matches for Newcastle in the 2024 NRL season. The team finished 8th and made it to the finals. He played in their elimination final game against North Queensland.
