Moving to Morgan Park High School
For his last three years of high school, Adam moved to Morgan Park High School in Chicago. This move happened because his mom got a new teaching job nearby.

Becoming a Top Player
In his junior year, Adam's skills really shined. He averaged 29 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game. Because of his amazing performance, he was named the Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year. This award goes to the best high school athlete in the state.

Choosing a College Team
On November 21, 2019, Adam decided where he would play college basketball. He chose to play for the Illinois Fighting Illini. He picked Illinois over other great teams like Arizona and Louisville.
Adam Miller's College Basketball Career
Playing for Illinois
Adam made his college debut on November 25, 2020. In this first game, he scored an impressive 28 points. He made 10 of 12 shots from the field and 6 of 8 three-point shots. This helped his team win 122–60 against North Carolina A&T. His 28 points set a new record for the most points scored by a freshman in their first game for Illinois. As a freshman, Adam averaged 8.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
Transferring to LSU
After his freshman year, Adam decided to transfer to LSU. He chose LSU even though other big schools like Kentucky and Michigan also wanted him.
In October 2021, Adam faced a challenge. He tore his ACL, which is a serious knee injury. This meant he had to miss the entire 2021-2022 basketball season to recover. Adam worked hard to get back on the court. He returned from his injury and started playing for LSU in the next season.
Time at Arizona State
After the 2022-2023 season, Adam transferred again. This time, he moved to Arizona State University. Because he transferred a second time without having earned a college degree, he needed special permission from the NCAA (the organization that sets rules for college sports) to play.
The NCAA first said he couldn't play for the 2023-2024 season. However, the rule about transferring was later put on hold. This allowed Adam to play for Arizona State during that season. He played two seasons with Arizona State.
Joining Gonzaga
After his time at Arizona State, Adam Miller transferred to Gonzaga. He is currently playing for the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Playing for Team USA
Adam Miller has also played for his country. He was part of the United States team at the 2021 FIBA Under-19 World Cup. This big tournament took place in Latvia. Adam averaged 7.4 points and 3.6 assists per game during the competition. His efforts helped the U.S. team win the gold medal!
