Adam Fraser Milne is a professional cricketer from New Zealand. He was born on April 13, 1992. Adam is famous for his super-fast bowling with his right arm. He plays for the New Zealand national cricket team in shorter cricket games. He even helped his team reach the finals of the 2015 Cricket World Cup!

Adam Milne's Early Life
Adam grew up in Palmerston North, New Zealand. He went to Palmerston North Intermediate Normal School. Later, he attended Palmerston North Boys' High School.
Adam Milne's Cricket Journey
Starting His Professional Career
Adam started playing professional cricket when he was just 18 years old. His first big game was for the Central Districts in the 2009/10 season. In that game, he took a wicket with only his second ball! He has played for Central Districts throughout his career. Sometimes, injuries or playing for his country have limited his games for the team.
Playing for Teams Around the World
Adam has played for many different cricket teams.
- He joined Royal Challengers Bangalore in India in 2015. He played for them in 2016 and 2017.
- In 2017, Adam signed with Kent County Cricket Club in England. He played many matches for Kent, taking 28 wickets. He even set a new record for Kent in T20 matches. He took 5 wickets for only 11 runs against Somerset! He returned to play for Kent in 2018 and 2019.
- In 2021, Adam joined the Mumbai Indians team. He also returned to Kent for his fourth time that year. He even took a hat-trick against Surrey!
- In 2022, he was bought by the Chennai Super Kings. He also joined the Birmingham Phoenix team for The Hundred tournament in England.
- In 2023, he played for Washington Freedom in the USA.
- In 2024, he played for the Melbourne Stars in Australia.
Playing for New Zealand
Adam first played for the New Zealand Cricket Team in 2010. Even though he sometimes gave away a lot of runs, his super-fast bowling impressed everyone. He could bowl at speeds over 150 kilometers per hour! People saw him as a future star for the national team.
In May 2018, New Zealand Cricket gave him a new contract. This showed they believed in his talent.
In August 2021, Adam was called to join New Zealand's team for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup as an injury cover.
In March 2023, Adam was part of New Zealand's T20I team playing against Sri Lanka. On April 5, 2023, he took his first five-wicket haul in international cricket. This means he took 5 wickets in one game! His amazing bowling helped his team win by 9 wickets.
Later in 2023, Adam had a hamstring injury. This meant he could not play in the ODI series against England. He also missed out on the 2023 Cricket World Cup squad. However, he returned to play against Bangladesh later that month. He took four wickets in the only match he played.
