Adam Mosseri (born January 23, 1983) is an American businessman. He is best known as the head of Instagram, a popular photo and video sharing app. Before leading Instagram, he worked as an executive at Facebook, which is the company that owns Instagram.

Early Life and Education
Adam Mosseri was born in New York City. His father was a psychotherapist, and his mother was an architect. Adam grew up in Chappaqua, New York, and went to Horace Greeley High School. He has an older brother named Emile Mosseri, who is a composer.
Adam studied at New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study. He focused on media and information design. He earned his bachelor's degree in information design in 2005.

Starting His Own Business
In 2003, while still a student at NYU, Adam Mosseri started his own design company. It was called Blank Mosseri. Working at Facebook
