Adolfo Carlos Aguilar Villanueva (born October 1, 1972) is a famous Peruvian actor, TV presenter, and producer. He is well-known for hosting popular TV shows like Polizontes, Trato Hecho, El último pasajero, and especially Yo Soy, which he has hosted since 2012.

Adolfo Aguilar: Life and Career
Adolfo Aguilar was born in 1972 in Callao, Peru. He learned acting from many great teachers, including Eduardo Masias, Roberto Ángeles, and Alberto Isola.
Adolfo Aguilar as an Actor
Adolfo began his acting career on television in 1998. His first big role was in the TV show La rica Vicky. After that, he appeared in other productions like Gente como uno and Milagros.
On stage, Adolfo performed in plays such as Los chismes de las mujeres in 2000. He also acted in the drama Criados en cautiverio and the comedy Salvador. He joined the theater group Teatro DeAbril for the play Ivonne, Princesa de Borgoña.
In 2006, he acted in the drama Los ojos abiertos de ella. He also played two different characters in the comedy El enfermo imaginario by Moliere. Later that year, he was in the play Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller.
In 2008, Adolfo was in a short film called Quin's Day while in Miami. He also appeared in the movie El Buen Pedro, which came out in 2012.
Adolfo Aguilar: A TV Presenter
In 2002, Adolfo started hosting Otra cosa, a magazine show on RTP channel. From 2003 to 2004, he was a presenter and reporter for the show Polizontes. In 2005, he became the host of the game show Trato Hecho on ATV. The newspaper Peru21 even named him "Best Host of the Year."
In 2006, he briefly hosted a youth contest show called Con Buena Onda. In 2010, he returned to Peru to compete in the dance reality show El Gran Show.
The Peruvian version of the game show El último pasajero started in 2011 with Adolfo as the presenter. This show won an award in 2012 for being the Best TV Show of 2011.
Since April 9, 2012, Adolfo has been the host of the popular reality show Yo Soy on Frecuencia Latina. This show continued into 2013 and beyond, becoming one of his most famous roles.
Adolfo Aguilar: A Film Producer
Adolfo Aguilar is also a film producer. He started a production company called Big Bang Films with film director Sandro Ventura, Hugo Shinki, and Jesus Alvarez.
Their company has produced several movies. These include El buen Pedro, released in 2012, and Quizás mañana, which came out in 2013. Adolfo is listed as an executive producer for these films. Another movie they produced was Japy Ending in 2014.
