How the Show Works
El Gran Show was a dance competition with a special twist. Each season, celebrities teamed up with amateur dancers. These amateur dancers were called "Dreamers."
Who Participated?
The celebrities came from many different fields. They included actors, models, singers, athletes, and television hosts. The "Dreamers" were talented people who needed help to achieve a goal.
The Dreamers' Goals
The show focused on helping these "Dreamers." Each "Dreamer" had a specific goal or "dream." This dream was often about solving a personal problem. It could also be about helping someone else in need. For example, a dream might be to pay for a family member's medical treatment. Or it could be to fund a community project.
The Competition
The show had a format similar to other dance competitions. Eleven couples, each made up of a "Dreamer" and a celebrity, competed. They performed different dance styles each week. A panel of judges scored their performances.
Weekly Eliminations
After the judges' scores, viewers could vote for their favorite couples. The couple with the fewest votes each week was eliminated. This made the competition very exciting.
The Grand Finale
The competition continued for about ten weeks. In the final show, only two couples remained. They competed one last time. The winning couple's "Dreamer" would then have their dream come true. This showed how dancing talent could help people achieve important goals.
