Adrian Sean Grenier (born July 10, 1976) is an American actor, director, and musician. He is most famous for his role as the movie star Vincent Chase in the TV series Entourage.
Grenier has also appeared in popular movies like Drive Me Crazy and The Devil Wears Prada. More recently, he starred in the Netflix thriller series Clickbait. Besides acting, he is passionate about helping the environment.

Early Life and Family
Adrian Grenier was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was raised by his mother, Karesse Grenier, in New York City. His mother's family has Mexican, Spanish, and French roots.
In 2012, a TV show called Finding Your Roots helped Adrian learn more about his family history. A DNA test showed that he has about 8% Native American ancestry. The show traced his family back to an ancestor named Diego de Montoya, who was born in 1596 in what is now Mexico.
Grenier went to the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. After high school, he attended Bard College in New York.
Career in Entertainment
Acting Roles
Grenier started his film career in 1997. His first big role was in the 1999 movie Drive Me Crazy with actress Melissa Joan Hart.
His biggest role came in 2004 when he was cast as Vincent Chase in the HBO show Entourage. The show was about a young movie star and his friends living in Los Angeles. It was very successful and ran for eight seasons until 2011. Grenier later played the same character in the Entourage movie in 2015.
In 2006, he played Nate Cooper in the hit movie The Devil Wears Prada. He acted alongside famous stars like Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. In 2021, he starred as Nick Brewer in the popular Netflix series Clickbait.
Directing and Producing
Grenier is also a talented director and producer. In 2001, he started a company called Reckless Productions to create films about important social topics.
His first documentary as a director was Shot in the Dark. The film was about his personal journey to reconnect with his father, whom he had not seen for 18 years. The documentary was shown at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2002.
He also directed a documentary called Teenage Paparazzo. It explored the world of celebrity culture through the eyes of a 13-year-old photographer. The film featured interviews with stars like Lindsay Lohan and Alec Baldwin.
Music Career
Grenier is also a musician who can play the guitar, bass, drums, and harmonica. He was a member of two bands in New York, Kid Friendly and The Honey Brothers.
In 2012, he started Wreckroom, a recording studio and project to help new musicians. Wreckroom helps bands record their music and creates videos of them performing cover songs.

United Nations Goodwill Ambassador
Because of his work to protect the oceans with his Lonely Whale Foundation, Grenier was chosen for a special role. On World Environment Day in 2017, he was named a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme. In this role, he encourages people to use less single-use plastic and to help protect ocean animals.
Personal Life
In 2022, Adrian Grenier married Jordan Roemmele in a ceremony held in Morocco. They welcomed their first child, a son, in June 2023. In November 2024, they announced they are expecting a second child.
