Adrian Paul Hewett, born on May 29, 1959, is an English actor and director. He is most famous for playing Duncan MacLeod in the TV series Highlander: The Series. In 1997, he started a charity called the Peace Fund.

Adrian Paul's Early Life
Adrian Paul was born in London, England. He was the first of three brothers. His mother was Italian, and his father was British. As a teenager, he was a good footballer. He played for a team called Cray Wanderers between 1976 and 1978.
In 1985, Adrian Paul moved to the United States. He wanted to work in dance and modeling. He also spent time acting in plays. He said that these plays and an early TV show called Beauty and the Beast helped him become a better actor.
Adrian Paul's Acting Career
Adrian Paul's first acting job was in 1986. He played a ballet dancer named Nikolai "Kolya" Rostov in the TV series The Colbys. After that, he appeared in many other TV shows. These included Beauty and the Beast (1987), Tarzán (1991), and Murder, She Wrote (1992). He even appeared as himself in WWE SmackDown in 1999. In 2003, he was in an episode of Charmed.

Since the late 1980s, Adrian Paul has studied different martial arts. These include Taekwondo, Choy Li Fut, and Hung Gar Kung Fu. He has been featured on the covers of several martial arts magazines.
