Adriano Gerlin da Silva, often called just Adriano, is a former professional football player from Brazil. He was born on September 20, 1974, in Dracena, Brazil. Adriano was known for playing as an attacking midfielder, which means he helped both defend and score goals for his team.
He was a very talented young player. He became the top scorer at the 1991 FIFA U-17 World Championship. He also won the Golden Ball award at the 1993 FIFA World Youth Championship. This award is given to the best player in the tournament.
