Agenda is a small city located in Republic County, Kansas, in the United States. In 2020, about 47 people lived there.

History of Agenda

Agenda was first planned out in 1887. It was built along the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad line. The city was originally called Neva.

The name "Agenda" comes from a Latin word. It means "what ought to be done." The very first house in Agenda was built by Joseph Cox in 1887.

In the early 1900s, Agenda was a busy place. It had a post office where you could send money orders. There were also offices for sending telegrams and express packages. The town had several stores, a bank, and a large building called a grain elevator. A grain elevator is used to store grain like corn or wheat.

By 1910, about 200 people lived in Agenda. The post office in Agenda closed down in 1998.

Agenda used to have its own schools. Agenda High School's mascot was the Huskies. However, these schools closed when the districts combined.
