Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami (Persian: احمد خاتمی), born on May 8, 1960, is an important religious leader and politician in Iran. He holds the title of Ayatollah, which is a high rank for a Muslim cleric. He is a member of the Guardian Council and a senior member of the Assembly of Experts.

Early Life and Education
