Ahmet Derviş started his military journey by attending important schools. He studied at the Ottoman Military Academy. After that, he went to the Ottoman Military College. These schools trained him to be a skilled officer. He learned about strategy and leadership.

A Career in the Ottoman Army

Ahmet Derviş began his service in the Ottoman Army in 1906. He held many important positions. He was a Chief of Staff for different divisions. This means he helped plan and organize military operations. He also worked in the General Supply Department. This role made sure soldiers had what they needed.
