Aidan Yüçel Sezer, born on June 24, 1991, is an Australian professional rugby league player. He plays as a halfback or five-eighth for Hull F.C. in the Super League.
Before joining Hull F.C., Aidan played for several other teams. These included the Gold Coast Titans and Canberra Raiders in Australia's NRL. He also played for the Huddersfield Giants and Leeds Rhinos in the Super League in England. Aidan has also represented special teams like the Indigenous All Stars and New South Wales City.

Early Life and Junior Career
Aidan Sezer was born in Bankstown, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. His father, Yüçel, is of Turkish background, and his mother is an Indigenous Australian.
Aidan started playing junior rugby league for the East Hills Bulldogs. Later, he was signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. He played for their Toyota Cup team from 2010 to 2011. During this time, he scored over 300 points, showing his talent. In 2010, he was even named as the five-eighth in the NYC Team of the Year. In late 2011, Aidan moved to the Gold Coast Titans. He was looking for more chances to play in the top-level games.

Starting with the Gold Coast Titans (2012-2015)
NRL Debut and First Season (2012)
Aidan made his first big game appearance in the 2012 NRL season. He played for the Gold Coast Titans against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. In this game, he played as a five-eighth and scored a try. The Titans won the game 26–14. In his first year, Aidan played 18 matches. He scored four tries, kicked seven goals, and one field goal. In December, he signed a new contract with the Gold Coast Titans until the end of the 2015 NRL season.
All Stars Match and Strong Performance (2013)
In February 2013, Aidan played for the Indigenous All Stars team. They played against the NRL All Stars and won 32–6. Aidan came off the bench in this game. For the 2013 NRL season, he played 22 matches for the Gold Coast Titans. He scored one try, kicked 75 goals, and two field goals.
Injury Challenges (2014)
The 2014 NRL season was tough for Aidan due to injuries. In a game against the Brisbane Broncos, he hurt his pectoral muscle. This injury kept him out of the game for three months. Milestone Game and Team Performance (2017)
In February 2017, Aidan was part of Canberra's Auckland Nines team. He also played for the Indigenous All Stars again, winning 34–8. In April, Aidan played his 100th NRL career match. Canberra won that game 30–18 against the Parramatta Eels. He played in all 24 of the Raiders' matches in the 2017 NRL season. He scored 4 tries and kicked 12 goals.
Contract Extension and Training with Turkey (2018)
In June 2018, Aidan extended his contract with the Canberra Raiders. This meant he would stay with the club until the end of the 2020 NRL season. He played 18 matches in the 2018 NRL season. Grand Final Appearance and Move to Super League (2019)
Aidan started the 2019 NRL season as Canberra's main halfback. He kicked a field goal in their first game, a 21–0 win. He later had an injury and was replaced for a while. Time with Leeds Rhinos (2022-2023)
In February 2022, Aidan made his debut for Leeds Rhinos. They lost 22–20 to Warrington Wolves. Aidan missed the 2022 Super League Grand Final. He could not play due to concussion rules. In August 2023, Aidan signed a one-year deal to join the Wests Tigers in Australia. He played 19 games for Leeds in the 2023 Super League season. The team finished 8th and did not make the playoffs.
Return to the NRL and New Club (2024-2025)
Back with Wests Tigers (2024)
In March 2024, Aidan made his debut for the Wests Tigers. In April, he kicked a winning field goal. This helped the Wests Tigers upset Parramatta 17-16. Later, he was involved in a tackle that led to a four-week suspension. Aidan played 17 games for the Wests Tigers in the 2024 NRL season. The team finished last for the third year in a row.
