Ainsley Earhardt (born 1975/1976) is an American television host and author. She is well-known as a co-host of the show Fox & Friends.

Early Life and Education

Ainsley Earhardt was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina. When she was a young child, her family moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. Later, they moved to the Columbia, South Carolina, area while she was still in elementary school. She finished high school at Spring Valley High School.

After high school, Ainsley first went to Florida State University. She then transferred to the University of South Carolina. There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in journalism.

Her Career in Television

Starting in Local News

Before she even graduated from the University of South Carolina, Ainsley Earhardt was hired as a reporter. She worked for WLTX, a local CBS TV station in Columbia, South Carolina. From 2000 to 2004, she was the morning and noon news anchor. She even traveled to New York City after the September 11 attacks. She reported on how students from South Carolina raised money to help firefighters buy a new fire truck.

In 2005, Ainsley moved to San Antonio, Texas. There, she anchored morning and noon newscasts for the TV station KENS. While living in Texas, she did many exciting things. She completed a half-marathon race. She also went skydiving with the U.S. Army's Golden Knights. She even flew in an F-16 jet with the United States Air Force Thunderbirds!

Moving to Fox News

Ainsley Earhardt moved to New York City in 2007 and began working at Fox News Channel. She has said that she didn't know much about politics before joining the network.

At Fox News, she had her own segment called "Ainsley Across America" on the show Hannity. She also co-hosted Fox and Friends Weekend and All-American New Year's Eve. She appeared on other shows like The Live Desk and Red Eye.

In 2016, Ainsley became a co-host of Fox & Friends. She has interviewed important people like former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence.

Ainsley Earhardt as an Author

Besides her work in television, Ainsley Earhardt is also an author. She has written three children's books. These books are titled Take Heart, My Child, Through Your Eyes, and I'm So Glad You Were Born. She also wrote a memoir, which is a book about her own life, called The Light Within Me.

Personal Life

Ainsley Earhardt was married to Kevin McKinney in April 2005. Their marriage ended in 2009. In October 2012, she married Will Proctor, who was a quarterback for Clemson University. They have one child together. They divorced in 2019. Ainsley lives in Manhattan, New York. She is a Christian.

In August 2019, Ainsley Earhardt began a relationship with fellow Fox News personality Sean Hannity. They became engaged on Christmas Day 2024.
