Ayshia K. M. Pittman (born September 10, 1993) is a politician from the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. She is a member of the Democratic Party. She serves in the Oklahoma House of Representatives for the 99th district. She is important because she is the third person from the Seminole Nation to serve in the Oklahoma Legislature.

Growing Up
Ayshia K. M. Pittman was born on September 10, 1993. Her mother, Anastasia Pittman, was also a politician. Her mother served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives and the Oklahoma Senate.
Ayshia is a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. She went to the University of Oklahoma. She also graduated from the Oklahoma Policy Institute.
Serving in the Oklahoma House of Representatives
In 2018, Pittman decided to run for a seat in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. She ran for the 99th district. She won the Democratic primary election. She then won the runoff primary election.
She took over the seat from Representative George E. Young. She became the third person from the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma to serve in the Oklahoma Legislature. She is also a member of the Oklahoma Legislature Black Caucus.
Reelection and Second Term
In 2020, Pittman ran for reelection to keep her seat. She won the Democratic primary election again.
Later in 2020, she was chosen for an important role. Speaker of the House Charles McCall appointed her to a special committee. This committee works on issues between the state and Native American tribes.
During the 2020 presidential election, Pittman supported Joe Biden. She was also supported by a group called EMILY's List.
In 2021, a new law was discussed. This law would stop governments from making people get vaccinated. It would also stop them from punishing people who choose not to vaccinate. Pittman was the only person on the public health committee to vote against this law. The law later passed in the state house.

In 2024, Pittman ran for reelection once more. She faced a challenge in the primary election. She won the primary election.
