Akintunde Warnock (born October 23, 1971), known as Akintunde or Ak, is a talented American comedian, writer, director, and actor. He is famous for his clean, family-friendly comedy.

Akintunde's Comedy Journey

Akintunde first discovered his love for making people laugh when he was a student at Ramah Junior Academy in Savannah, Georgia. He found that humor was a great way to connect with his classmates.

After working as a barber, Akintunde decided to become a full-time stand-up comedian in 1995. He traveled all over the United States, performing his comedy routines. He appeared on popular TV shows like BET's Comicview and the Turner South series That Comedy Show. Akintunde also used his writing skills to create jokes for the television show It's Showtime at the Apollo. He even wrote material for famous comedians like Monique and Chris Tucker.

In 1999, Akintunde became a Christian. This led him to create comedy that was inspiring and suitable for all ages. He even turned a book by Bishop Eddie Long, called I Don't Want Delilah, I Need You, into a movie screenplay.

Akintunde also co-produced a documentary about black comedians called No Joke. He worked on this film with comedian J. Anthony Brown from the Tom Joyner Morning Show. The documentary shares what life is like for comedians on the road, featuring stars such as Steve Harvey, Renaldo Ray, and Paul Mooney.

Akintunde's Family Life

Akintunde and his wife, Eunissa, have five children. Their names are Akintunde II (born 1994), Jaleel (1996), Deja (1997), Khalia (August 2000), and Elijah Prince (November 2002). The family lives in Columbia, South Carolina.
