Aladdin and His Magic Lamp (French: Aladin et la Lampe Merveilleuse) is a fun animated movie from France. It was released in 1970. The film was directed by Jean Image. It tells a story based on the famous Arabian Nights tale of Aladdin. This movie was very popular with kids when it first came out.

The film was created by Jean Image and his team. About fifty artists worked on it. They made the movie in 1969, from April to November. Even with a quick schedule, the film was a success.
Release in the United States
Paramount Pictures helped bring Aladdin and His Magic Lamp to the United States. They released it on July 1, 1975. It was shown as part of their "Family Matinee" program in cinemas. This was the second and last movie by Jean Image to be released in the U.S.
