Alba Adèle August (born on June 6, 1993) is a talented actress and singer from Denmark and Sweden. She is known for her roles in popular shows and movies like the Netflix series The Rain and the film Becoming Astrid.

Early Life and Family

Alba August grew up in a family of artists. Her father, Bille August, is a famous Danish director, and her mother, Pernilla August, is a well-known Swedish actress and director. Even though her parents divorced in 1997, Alba followed in their footsteps. Her older sister, Asta Ostergren, is also an actress. She also has two older half-brothers, Adam August and Anders August, who are both screenwriters.

Becoming an Actress and Singer

Alba August started acting when she was very young. Her first role was a small part in her father's movie, A Song for Martin, in 2001. She continued to act in different projects as she grew up.

In 2017, Alba got a big role in the Danish Netflix series The Rain. This show became very popular around the world. She also earned great reviews for her acting in the movie Becoming Astrid, where she played the famous Swedish author Astrid Lindgren.
