Alberto Baldé Almánzar (born March 21, 2002) is a professional football player. He plays as a forward for NIFL Premiership team Loughgall. Alberto was born in Spain and grew up in Northern Ireland. He plays for the Dominican Republic national team.

Early Life and Background
Alberto Baldé was born in Madrid, Spain. His father is from Guinea-Bissau, and his mother is Afro-Dominican. When Alberto was very young, he moved to Northern Ireland with his mother.
Club Football Journey
Starting at Portadown
Alberto joined the youth team of the Northern Ireland club Portadown when he was 12 years old. At that time, he did not know any English. He became well-known because of a Google advertisement. This ad showed how his coaches used Google Translate to talk with him.
When he was 15, Alberto made history for Portadown. He became their youngest player ever to score a goal. This happened in a 2–1 win against Knockbreda in the NIFL Championship.
Time with Middlesbrough
In 2018, Alberto moved to England to join the reserve team of Middlesbrough. While there, he also had a short loan spell in November 2021. He played for a non-league club called Pickering Town.
Returning to Portadown and Loughgall
Middlesbrough released Alberto when his contract ended in June 2022. He then went back to play for Portadown. Later, he joined Loughgall, where he plays today.
Playing for His Country
Youth Teams for Northern Ireland
In 2017, Alberto played for the youth national teams of Northern Ireland. He represented both the Northern Ireland U15 and Northern Ireland U16 teams.
Representing the Dominican Republic
In June 2022, Alberto was chosen to play for the Dominican Republic national team. He made his first appearance for them on June 5, 2022. This was in a CONCACAF Nations League match against French Guiana. He came into the game as a substitute in the 67th minute. The Dominican Republic lost that game 3–2.
