Alberto Jorge Fouillioux Ahumada (born November 22, 1940 – died June 23, 2018) was a famous Chilean football player. He was a talented midfielder and striker. He played for the Chile national team many times. He played in 70 games and scored 12 goals for his country.

A Football Star's Journey
Alberto Fouillioux started his football career at Universidad Católica in 1957. He quickly became a key player for the team. He helped them win the Chilean league championship twice. These big wins happened in 1961 and 1966.
Playing for Chile
Fouillioux was also a big part of the Chilean national team. He played in two FIFA World Cups. These were the 1962 World Cup and the 1966 World Cup. In 1962, Chile played very well and finished in third place!
Club Teams and Coaching
After playing for Universidad Católica, Fouillioux joined Huachipato in 1969. Later, in 1972, he played for Unión Española. Towards the end of his playing days, he moved to France. There, he played for Lille.
After he stopped playing, Fouillioux became a football manager. He coached teams like Huachipato and Colo-Colo. Alberto Fouillioux passed away on June 23, 2018, in his hometown of Santiago, Chile. He was 77 years old.

After his football career, Alberto Fouillioux became a well-known sports commentator. From 1989 to 2000, he worked for the Chilean TV channel Canal 13. He was famous for working with Néstor Isella on a TV show called Futgol. He also worked for other TV and radio stations. These included Canal 11, Radio Nacional, and Radio Agricultura.
