Alberto Guitián Ceballos (born on July 29, 1990) is a Spanish footballer. He plays mainly as a central defender, which means he helps protect the team's goal. He can also play as a central midfielder. Currently, he plays for Gimnástica de Torrelavega.

Club Career Highlights
Starting in Spain
Alberto Guitián was born in Los Corrales de Buelna, a town in Cantabria, Spain. He started his football journey at a young age. He joined the youth academy of Racing de Santander, a well-known Spanish club.
He began playing for Racing's reserve team in the 2008–09 season. This team plays in Segunda División B, which is the third level of Spanish football.
In September 2013, Guitián moved to another reserve team, Sporting de Gijón B. They also played in the third division. He played regularly there and signed a new contract in July 2014.
Moving to the Main Squad
On July 10, 2015, Alberto Guitián was promoted to the main team of Sporting de Gijón. This team had just been promoted to La Liga, which is the top football league in Spain. During the team's training before the season, he started playing more as a central defender.
He made his first professional appearance on December 2, 2015. This was in a Copa del Rey match, which is a cup competition in Spain. Later that month, he played his first game in La Liga.
New Teams and Experiences
In February 2016, Guitián left Sporting de Gijón. He then joined Real Zaragoza, a team in the Segunda División, which is the second tier of Spanish football. He scored his first professional goal for Zaragoza in April 2016.
In June 2016, he signed a three-year contract with Real Valladolid, another team in the second division. After playing for Valladolid for a while, he was loaned back to Sporting de Gijón in January 2018. He played for them until the end of that season.
In December 2018, Guitián returned to Real Zaragoza for a second time. He stayed with them until January 2021.
Playing Abroad and Return to Spain
For the first time in his career, Alberto Guitián moved to play football outside of Spain. In January 2021, he signed a contract with Club Bolívar, a team in Bolivia. He played there for about a year.
After his time in Bolivia, he returned to Spain. He joined Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa in 2023. In 2024, he moved to his current club, Gimnástica de Torrelavega.
