Alexander Jerome Gould (born May 4, 1994) is an American acting agent and former actor. He is widely recognized for lending his voice to the main character, Nemo, in the popular Pixar animated movie Finding Nemo. He also played Shane Botwin in the TV drama series Weeds, which earned him nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

About Alexander's Life
Alexander Gould was born in Los Angeles, California. His younger sisters, Emma and Kelly, also became actresses. Alexander's family is Jewish. They were active in a Jewish youth group called United Synagogue Youth.
After filming the last season of Weeds in 2012, Alexander took a "gap year." This means he took a break before college. He lived in Israel for almost a year. Then, he started college at Clark University in 2013.
Later, Alexander transferred to Brandeis University. He graduated in 2017. He earned two degrees, one in philosophy and one in politics. Alexander married Lieba Hall in June 2018. They live in Los Angeles.
Alexander's Acting Career
Alexander's acting career began when he was only two years old. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, he had small parts in many popular TV shows. When he was nine, he got the main voice role in the movie Finding Nemo. He also played David Collins in a new version of the soap opera Dark Shadows. However, the TV channel did not pick up this show.
Starring in Weeds
From age ten to eighteen, Alexander was a main cast member of the TV show Weeds on Showtime. He appeared in all eight seasons as the character Shane Botwin. For his role, he was nominated twice for an award. This award was for "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series" at the SAG Awards.
While working on Weeds, Alexander also had guest roles in other shows. He was part of the cast for the 2006 film How to Eat Fried Worms. He also voiced the character Bambi in Bambi II.
Moving to a New Role
In 2012, Alexander decided to step away from acting to go to college. During this time, he had two small voice acting roles. He voiced Jimmy Olsen in the 2013 animated movie Superman: Unbound. He also had a small voice part in 2016's Finding Dory. In 2018, Alexander joined the Abrams Acting Agency. Now, he works as an acting agent.
