Alexandros Tzorvas's Football Journey

Starting His Career

Alexandros Tzorvas began his football journey at the Panathinaikos football academy. Even though he was a promising player, it was tough for him to join the main team. There were already many experienced goalkeepers there.

Because of this strong competition, Panathinaikos loaned him out. He played for teams like Agios Nikolaos, Markopoulo, and Thrasyvoulos. This helped him gain valuable experience on the field. In 2005, Panathinaikos called him back to their team.

Playing for OFI Crete

Tzorvas did not get many chances to play for the main Panathinaikos team. So, he moved to OFI in 2007. He quickly became a starting player for the team from Crete.

He played very well and had many strong performances. In 2008, he was recognized as the Second Greek Best Goalkeeper. This was a big achievement for him.

Back to Panathinaikos

In the 2008–09 season, Panathinaikos brought Tzorvas back. Even though another goalkeeper was expected to start, Tzorvas got his chance. He played in several games for the Greek Superleague and the UEFA Champions League.

For the 2009–10 season, he became the main goalkeeper for Panathinaikos. He is a very loyal fan of Panathinaikos. Once, during a game against Olympiakos, he showed his love for his team's badge.

He started as the main goalkeeper but later lost his spot. This happened after some games where he did not play his best. Other goalkeepers were then chosen to play instead of him.

In the summer of 2012, he moved to Genoa. He signed a one-year contract with this new club. On March 17, 2013, Tzorvas played his first game for Genoa.

On July 9, 2013, Tzorvas returned to Greece. He joined the newly promoted club Apollon Smyrni.

Time with Apollon Smyrnis
