Alexx Ekubo-Okwaraekee (born April 10, 1986 – died May 12, 2026) was a talented Nigerian actor. He was also an entertainer and a kind person who helped others. Alexx became famous for his roles in Nollywood movies. These included funny romantic films and serious dramas. He first gained attention as the runner-up in the 2010 Mr. Nigeria contest. Later, his role in the movie Weekend Getaway made him even more well-known. In 2020, he was named one of the "Most Influential People of African Descent" under 40. This was for his important work in entertainment and for helping communities in Africa.

Alexx Ekubo's Early Life and School
Alexx grew up in Arochukwu, a town in Abia State, Nigeria. He went to Federal Government College Daura for his high school education. Later, he studied law at the University of Calabar. In 2021, he received a special honorary degree. This degree was in arts and culture from ISCG University in Cotonou, Benin.
Alexx Ekubo's Acting Career
Alexx started his acting journey with a small part in a movie. It was called Sinners in the House in 2003. He then acted in many other popular films. Some of these include Weekend Getaway, Omo Ghetto: The Saga, and The Bling Lagosians. He often played charming or funny characters. People loved his acting because he mixed humor with deep feelings.
