Joseph Alfred Pierre Hormisdas "Pit" Lépine (born July 30, 1901 – died August 2, 1955) was a Canadian ice hockey player and coach. He was born in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec. Pit Lépine played as a forward.

Pit Lépine played in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1925 to 1939. He spent his whole career with the Montreal Canadiens. He helped the Canadiens win two Stanley Cups. These wins were in the 1930 and 1931 seasons.

As a center, Lépine played over 500 games for Montreal. He was a great goal scorer. He was also good at checking and fighting for the puck in the corners of the rink. Pit Lépine still holds a special NHL record. In the 1926-27 season, he scored 16 goals without getting any assists. This is the most goals scored in a season without an assist.

Before joining the NHL, he played amateur hockey in Montreal. He played for teams like the Royals, Hochelega, and Nationale. After 13 years in the NHL, Lépine played one year in a minor league. He played for the New Haven Eagles in the AHL during the 1938–39 season.

In 1939, Babe Siebert was named the coach of the Canadiens. Sadly, Siebert drowned. Pit Lépine was then chosen to be the coach for the 1939–40 season. The team had a tough season. Older players were not as strong, and new young players were not ready. The team finished in last place that season. Lépine was then replaced by Dick Irvin, who rebuilt the team.

Pit Lépine had a serious stroke in 1951. He had two more strokes in 1954. He passed away on August 2, 1955. He was in a care home in Ste-Rose, Quebec. He died from the effects of these strokes. This was just three days after his 54th birthday. Alfred was the brother of another hockey player, Hector Lépine.
