Mohammad Aliff bin Aziz (born on February 16, 1991) is a talented singer and actor from Singapore. He is also very popular in Malaysia. Aliff became famous after winning a TV singing competition called Anugerah in 2007. He was only 16 years old then, making him the youngest winner ever!

Later that year, Aliff released his first album, also called Aliff. It sold many copies across Southeast Asia. His song "Sayang Sayang" was downloaded over a million times as a ringtone. Aliff has released four albums in total: Aliff (2007), It's Aliff's Time (2009), Aliff Aziz (2011), and Rebirth (2017).

Early Life and School

Aliff Aziz was born on February 16, 1991. He is the first child of Aziz Sapdan and Siti Hafiza Sheikh Mohamad. His family is Malay with some Arab heritage. Three years after Aliff was born, his twin sisters, Nur Aisyah Binte Aziz and Nur A'in Binte Aziz, joined the family.

Aliff went to Zhenghua Secondary School until 2007. He passed his 'N' Level exams there. After that, he studied at a private school to get his 'O' Level certificate in 2008.

Aliff's Career Journey

Aliff's big break came in 2007 when he won the Anugerah singing competition. He was the youngest winner at just 16 years old. This win helped him get a recording deal with Sony BMG and a cash prize of S$10,000.

In the same year, he released his first album, Aliff. It sold 3,000 copies in just two weeks! His song "Sayang-Sayang" quickly became popular on the Malay radio station Ria 89.7FM.

After his win, Aliff appeared on many TV shows. He also filmed a short advertisement for KFC in 2007. Even though he was busy with his singing career, he continued his studies.

In 2009, Aliff joined the National Service in Singapore. He worked as an instructor at the Singapore Civil Defence Force. During this time, he was also a singer for the Civil Defence Force's Music Performing Arts Club.

Aliff released his second album, It's Aliff's Time, in 2009. It included hit songs like "Cinta" and "Kalau Cinta". "Kalau Cinta," which featured Malaysian singer Joanna, was a huge success and stayed at the top of the radio charts for months.

After finishing his National Service in 2011, Aliff moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He wanted to focus more on his career as a singer, model, and actor there.

In early 2012, Aliff released his third album, Aliff Aziz. The music video for his song "Jangan Ganggu Pacarku" got 1 million views in just 24 hours! Other songs like "Cinta Ya Cinta" and "Setiap Detik" were used in TV dramas.

Aliff also started acting. His first drama was a comedy and musical show called Antara Kita. He played a character named Aril.

In December 2021, Aliff joined a Malaysian singing competition called Gegar Vaganza. He won the competition and was crowned champion! He also received RM 100,000 as a prize.

Aliff's Family Life

In 2016, Aliff married Malaysian singer and actress Bella Astillah. They had been dating for almost two years. They have two children: a son born in 2017 and a daughter born in 2020.

Aliff and Bella divorced in 2019 but got back together in 2020. However, they divorced again in 2024.
