Aliya-Jasmine "AJ" Sovani (born November 18, 1981) is a Canadian television host and producer. She first became well-known for her work on MTV Canada. Today, she works as a journalist, focusing on environmental topics. She has reported for NBC's station KNBC in Los Angeles.
Her Career
Before joining MTV, AJ Sovani worked as a producer at MuchMusic. She also worked both in front of and behind the camera at other TV channels. These included BPM:TV, Star!, and FashionTelevision. She also wrote articles and gave speeches.
During the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada, she was a reporter. She covered the events from Whistler for CTV's Olympic Morning show.
Over the years, AJ has had many exciting roles. She reported from the Vancouver Winter Olympics. She also reported from Haiti for Discovery Channel after the 2010 Haiti earthquake. She covered the NHL playoffs and co-hosted a red carpet show for TSN. This was at the 2013 ESPY Awards with Cabbie Richards.

In 2022, she co-hosted a documentary series called The Mightiest. She worked with Teddy Wilson on this show for Discovery Channel Canada.

In 2020, AJ Sovani married Mike Bradwell in Kenya. Mike Bradwell used to play football for the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League.
