Alkiviades "Alki" David (born in May 1968) is a businessman from Cyprus and Britain. He is known for starting several internet companies. One of his main ventures is FilmOn, which provides TV shows and movies online. He also created BattleCam.com, a website for streaming videos. Early Life and Education

Alkiviades David was born in May 1968 in Lagos, Nigeria. His family was involved in trading and shipping. They were Greek Cypriot people. His father, Andrew A. David, was born in Petra, Cyprus. He studied business at Trinity College in Ireland. In 1957, his father joined the family business. This was the Leventis-David Group in Ghana. There, he managed a Coca-Cola Bottling Plant.

Alki David went to high school in Switzerland. He later studied film at the Royal College of Art.
