The Story of All Souls' Church

All Souls' Church was built in 1921. It was created to remember the people who lost their lives in the First World War. The money to build the church came from donations by people in the local community.

The church was officially opened in March 1922. Bishop John Randolph of Guildford led the special ceremony. The building is big enough for about eighty adults to sit comfortably inside.

In 2003, the church added a new part called the Church Room. This addition cost £56,000. The Church Room is a busy place! It is used for Sunday club activities for children. People also gather there for refreshments after church services. Many church meetings take place in this room too.
